Some of the listed services below can be performed without a doctors written orders. Some services may need to be prescribed and approved with your veterinarian in order to maintain compliance with CT Laws.

Please be aware that as a travel veterinary technician, that I do not prescribe medication, administer vaccines, or perform surgery or perform any other services prohibited by the Connecticut law.

Ear Cleaning - Good for chronic ear infections or if your pet needs weekly or monthly maintenance. I will clean your pets ears with an ear cleaner used by veterinarians as well as be able to explain the correct way to clean a dog/cats ears.

Bilateral Anal Gland Expression - What are anal glands? Anal glands are used to mark a dogs feces with their own special scent. They mainly get blocked when there is inadequate fiber in the diet, but other reasons for blockage can be from when a pet is overweight, genetics, chronic skin issues or soft stool.

Nail Trim/Nail Filing (Dremel) - cat/dog - Frequent nail trims train your dog’s quicks to recede by trimming them on a monthly basis. When long nails make contact with the ground, they exert force on the foot and leg structure, gradually affecting the musculoskeletal health especially for those suffering from chronic issues like arthritis.

In Between Grooming Maintenance- Good for the fur that grows around the eyes/nose and in between paw pads.

Veterinary Appointment Transportation Taxi Services - I will pick up your pet and safely transport them to/from the vet. After your pet is brought home, I will go over a detailed discharge plan from your veterinarian.

Administer Topical or Oral Monthly Prevention - This prevention should be provided from your veterinarian and given on a monthly basis in order to aide in the control of intestinal parasites/fleas and ticks. Let me be your monthly reminder to administer those much needed flra and tick control medications!

Dental maintenance cleaning - This is a service that should be done on a pet that does not have dental disease. It’s beneficial to start brushing your pet’s teeth early using veterinary recommended dental products. I can assist in maintaining their dental hygiene on a weekly or monthly basis to help them get accustomed to regular dental care.

Signs - Say Happy Birthday or Happy Gothcya Day to your Furbaby with a yard greeting.

Collect Urine/Fecal Samples and Bring to Vet Clinic - Don’t have the time, or afraid you’re not collecting the sample correctly? I can help you with that as well as drop the sample off at your veterinarian hospital.

Special Event Transportation Taxi Services - Do you have a wedding or a birthday party that you would like to take your furbaby to? No problem, I can do that for you by picking up you pet and transporting to the event, and pick up when the event is done. I can stay with your pet at the event in order to make sure they stay out of trouble.

Brush Out - for Dogs and Cats - or Mat Removal (Basic/Moderate/Complex) - Good for dogs that shed their winter coat!

Bird Wing and/or Beak Trim - Maintain your birds beak and especially the wings so they don’t try to escape.

Puppy and Kitten Training Tips and Tricks and Information Guide - (I am not a professional trainer) But I can provide effective tips and tricks that have personally helped me. I will soon be certified in Pet Obedience in order to provide you with top notch positive training classes for your dog.

Potty Patch (Sanitary Cut) - Keep those wiggle butts clean by allowing me to shave a potty patch resulting in a more sanitary environment for your pets private parts. (Cat or Dog). This is particularly helpful for older dogs or cats with long hair who may struggle to keep themselves clean. (I am not a groomer).

Subcutaneous Fluid Administration - (Must be prescribed by a veterinarian) Owners provides supplies such as fluid bag, needles and fluid line. This service is great for pets that have been diagnosed by your veterinarian that are in renal failure.

Medication Administration - Do you have a pet that requires oral, topical or ophthalmic medication and is not being compliant? I can assist by visiting daily to administer the medications while you are at home or work.

Senior Care - Syringe feeding, senior clean up (due from incontinence)

Grief Loss Support and Palliative Care Services - I aim to getting certified and specializing in this soon!
